We are thrilled to announce the 1st National History Olympiad 2024, a prestigious event organized by the ACPS History Club of Adamjee Cantonment Public School in collaboration with Universal Exploration (UE). Set to take place on August 2 at Adamjee Cantonment Public School, Dhaka, this event promises to be a remarkable experience for history enthusiasts from all over the country.
Event Highlights
The Olympiad will feature ten engaging segments designed to challenge and inspire participants in various aspects of historical knowledge and creativity:
- পৌরাণিক (Pauranik): Focuses on the rich history of Bangladesh, where participants will answer 20 questions in 15 minutes through an online quiz.
- Global History Quiz: Covers historical events and figures from around the world, also conducted online.
- History-Based Content Writing: Invites participants to submit essays or articles on historical topics, evaluated for writing quality and data accuracy.
- Time Quest: Requires participants to identify the correct years of historical events from multiple-choice questions.
- History-Based Poster Designing: Encourages creative expression by designing posters inspired by historical themes.
- Past Puzzle: Challenges participants to guess historical incidents based on provided hints.
- History-Based Presentation: Involves creating a slide-based presentation on a historical topic, converted into video format.
- History-Based Book Quiz: Focuses on the historical content of “মূলধারা ৭১” by Moidul Hasan.
- History-Based TV and Series Quiz: Tests knowledge of history-based TV shows and series.
- Wall Magazine: Teams create wall magazines on historical themes, judged for creativity and accuracy.
Additional Opportunities
The Olympiad also offers opportunities for leadership and networking. We are recruiting campus ambassadors who will help register participants and promote the event. Ambassadors will gain leadership experience, networking opportunities, certificates of recognition, and exclusive rewards. Additionally, clubs interested in partnering with us can gain visibility and recognition, collaborative opportunities, and official certificates of partnership.
